Arts and Flowers
Every April, the Phoenix Art Museum League invites over 60 floral artists to interpret selected artwork in fresh flowers. A professional panel judges many of these creations during the weekend event. We have participated for the past four years.
Every February, the Phoenix Art Museum hosts an Ikebana exhibit in its Asian Art gallery. Artists from the Ikenobo, Ohara, and Sogetsu schools create beautiful arrangements which are displayed alongside statues, scrolls and other pieces from the Museum's permanent collection. We first brightened this gallery in 2009 with such elegant arrangements as this (right) and the middle one on our Home page.
Tea for Teal
Every September, The Anne Rita Monahan Foundation hosts an English Tea to benefit ovarian cancer research. For the past four years, we brought color and life to this important event by decorating the tables. We heartily support cancer research. ARM has donated over $10,000 in scholarships to many innovative cancer researchers.
